John has over 30 years' experience in the retail trade and is one of the town’s most well-known and successful retailers.

Together with his wife Janet, he has owned and run the CORNMETER  DIY store in Church Street for many years. He cares passionately about Godalming and was delighted to be asked to join the newly formed Godalming & District Chamber of Commerce as Vice President in January 2009.
